Since October 2009 the Gili Eco Trust has varied its projects to comprehend all the environmental issues Gili islands are confronted to. Coral reefs are in danger but land situation is not good either.

That’s why the Gili Eco Trust works now to improve waste management, educate children and raise their awareness to the weakness of our environment, develop ecotourism, offer horses of the cidomos (horse carts of the island, the only vehicle with bicycles) a better treatment, struggle against erosion…
