Biorock Project is financed thanks to funds from local sponsors and foreigner donators.

Thus Biorock workshops are organized with the help from voluntary Gili Trawangan hotels, restaurants and dive shops and foreign funds like PADI, Project Aware or Fondations Françaises.

The eco-taxe of 50,000rp (4€ / US$6) from each diver and occasional donations represent another finance source for the Biorock project.

In exchange of their support, local sponsors benefit of the construction and installation of Biorock structures in front of their business.
Today exists a real network of sponsors aware of the importance of a constant reef restoration.

We also thank Thomas J. Goreau for having patiently taught us his knowledge and enabled us to implement so many Biorock structures.

Finally, since July 2011, it is possible to donate online to support the Gili Eco Trust (option "Donate" in the column on the right – secure payment).
